Deeper, bittersweet and rum-rich, this mojito variation adds dark rum and Angostura to the classic template for a more complex Cuban highball.

Ingredients

• Mint — 3 sprig
• Lemon juice — 30 ml
• Dark rum — 1/8 l
• Club soda — 1/8 l
• Angostura bitters — 8 drops

Preparation

1. Muddle mint with lemon juice in a glass.
2. Add dark rum and ice.
3. Top with club soda.
4. Add Angostura bitters.
5. Stir gently.
6. Serve immediately.
