Equal measures of Scotch, cherry brandy, sweet vermouth and orange create a soft, russet cocktail. Malt and smoke sit behind ripe fruit, herbs and a rounded bittersweet finish.

Ingredients

• Blended Scotch — 23 ml
• Cherry brandy — 23 ml
• Sweet vermouth — 23 ml
• Orange juice — 23 ml
• Orange peel — 1 piece

Preparation

1. Add Scotch, cherry brandy, sweet vermouth and orange juice to a shaker with ice.
2. Shake briefly until chilled.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with an orange twist.
