Equal apple brandy and gin with a spoon of grapefruit and dashes of both vermouths — Savoy Star No. 1, orchard fruit meeting juniper. Not the Chartreuse No. 2.

Ingredients

• Apple brandy — 30 ml
• Gin — 30 ml
• Grapefruit juice — 5 ml
• Sweet Vermouth — dash
• Dry Vermouth — dash

Preparation

1. Add apple brandy, gin, grapefruit juice, sweet vermouth and dry vermouth to a shaker with ice.
2. Shake until well chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
