Ingredients

• Gin — 1 1/2 oz
• Sugar — 2 tsp
• Lemon juice — 1 1/2 oz
• Champagne — 4 oz
• Orange — 1 piece
• Maraschino cherry — 1 piece

Preparation

1. Add gin, sugar, and lemon juice to a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled champagne flute.
4. Top with champagne.
5. Stir gently.
6. Garnish with orange twist and maraschino cherry.
7. Serve immediately.
